Business Credit Checks
All businesses submitting loan applications to the Fund will be “credit checked” using an external credit checking agency. The Fund currently uses the credit checking service provided by Experian which may change from time to time.
Personal Credit Checks
All individuals (directors, partners and owners) will also be “credit checked” for their credit worthiness. From 1st December 2009 this report must be provided by all the individuals listed at Section 3 on the Application Form. Failure to provide this information may result in a delay in appraising your application.
Please click on the link below to be directed to the Experian website and then follow the instructions to order your credit report.
This information is required to help appraise your application for loan funding. If WSLF carried out the check this would leave a “footprint” on your credit file which could impact your personal credit rating.
The report costs £2.00 and will give WSLF a clear understanding of your credit score, financial status and confirmation of your identity.
